The Tide Discovery Fjord Route is based on public transport giving you the flexibility to "hop on - hop off" as you please. 

Round trip from Oslo

Oslo - Odda by bus

From Oslo you take the Haukeliekspressen to Odda. Odda is a village situated by the Hardangerfjord. Stay as many nights as you like, but we do recommend that you book accomodation in advance.  

Odda - Preikestolen by bus

Continue from Odda with Trolltunga-Preikestolenekspressen, along the scenic route RV 13. The route is available with one daily departure in July and August. Arriving at Preikestolenhytta in the afternoon you can hike to Preikestolen for the spectacular view, and spend the night at Preikestolenhytta or continue to Stavanger.

Preikestolen - Stavanger by bus and ferry

From Preikestolhytta you take the Tide shuttle bus to Tau and continue with the Norled ferry from Tau to Stavanger. In Stavanger you can explore the city, take a fjord cruise on the Lysefjord or go for a hike to Kjeragbolten, a round rock wedged solidly in a mountain crevice.

Stavanger - Haugesund by bus

Travelling from Stavanger to the Viking town of Haugesund, Kystbussen offer several daily departures. Haugesund is a small town on the west coast of Norway. This is the area where Vikings used to live and where the Viking Kings had their Royal seat. Visiting Haugesund, you will meet a cosy coastal town that has a lot to offer.

Haugesund - Bergen by bus

Explore the Viking town of Haugesund, before heading to Bergen with Kystbussen - coastal express coach. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region is perfect to explore culture in combination  with nature and exciting urban life.

Bergen - Odda by bus

From Bergen Bus Station you take the Skyss bus no 930 to Odda. The 11:50 departure is direct (3hrs5min) and available daily except Saturdays. There is no need to pre-book this bus, you can pay directly on board. Odda is a village situated by the Hardangerfjord. Stay as many nights as you like, but we do recommend that you book accomodation in advance.  

Odda - Oslo by bus

Haukeliekspressen is available from Odda/Seljestad to Oslo.
